British Airborne HSAT 1944 7 3/4

Without doubt the finest example of a 1944 dated British Airborne Helmet I have ever owned, this size 7 ¾ by BMB is in overall very good condition and retains virtually all of the original late war dark brown rough finish to the shell.
The shell is completely free from damage and is complemented by what I believe to be its’ original camouflage net.
Inside, the Sorbo rubber padding remains soft and shows an interesting mix of early pale and dark grey panels.
The leather sweatband shows only light use with nice clear stampings. The harness is very good and clearly the wartime pattern.
It would be very difficult to upgrade this lovely example.
