Single Kriegsmarine Official's Shoulder Board

For wear on the summer Tunic of a Kriegsmarine Official, this single and beautifully ornate Shoulder Board overstates the true rank of the medium to low grade Oberfeldwebel Official who would have worn it.
This is the 1940 pattern with the dark blue underlay bordered with silver wire piping leading in to a silver and blued twisted braiding. An aluminium Kriegsmarine eagle sits roughly in the middle of the Board with two silver rank pips and an aluminium triangle, indicating the career grade, (established from educational qualifications) of a Technical Official.
The first I have ever seen of these highly attractive shoulder boards, this example is in very good condition with three very small areas of wear to the underside where it would have slipped into the tunic.
